Where We're At
Just south of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, thirty miles southwest of Traverse City, Michigan, is Benzie County-- just one traffic light, but lots of artists and artisans.
We invite you to tour our hills and valleys, rivers, beaches and dunes, and the galleries and shops of those who make the unique in this beautiful corner of America, where the majestic Lake Michigan is like a great freshwater sea.
Our shoe shop is in the historic hilltop village of Benzonia, on Milliron Lane, one block west of US 31, behind the Roadhouse Restaurant.
From the North: Two blocks south of the traffic light on US 31, by the ball diamond, turn west/right onto Traverse Avenue, then take an immediate left onto Milliron Lane (next to the fire station), which runs behind the main street there. We are in a little old barn about a hundred yards south, on the right.
From the South: Three miles North of the M-115/US 31 junction, at the top of the hill in Benzonia, turn west/left onto Traverse Avenue, then take an immediate left onto Milliron Lane (next to the fire station), which runs behind the main street there.
