Production Time
If we have what you want in stock, we can ship it the next day. If we have to make it, allow two to three months for delivery of summer and fall orders, and a month or two from January to May. This is an approximation and can vary. These long lead-times are because we do orders on a first-come-first-serve basis, and we pile up the orders in the summer and fall.
We wish we could get what you want to you quicker, but we can only do what we can do, one piece at a time.
Please consider that this is a small operation that cuts and assembles everything by hand with great care to create quality products designed to last a very long time. Some Fernand ®shoes have been walking around more than twenty years and there’s no reason to assume that yours won’t too. Your patience in their construction is appreciated. Feel free to call at any time about your order’s status.
Returns
We only want satisfied customers, so we offer a 30 day money-back satisfaction guarantee on all that we make. All we ask is that you call ahead to discuss your return before you send it back to us. Does this mean that after 31 days we're going to say, oops, that's too bad, you should have been faster? No, the advantage of being a small independent store is that we have the ability to be flexible when it comes to accommodating the needs our customers. No returns will be accepted without authorization.

When it comes to your new shoes, very often issues about their fit can be resolved with a few minor adjustments made either by you , or by us. If your shoes don’t seem to fit properly when you receive them, call us and we’ll talk you through a few things you can do to resolve the issue. We may ask that you return them to us for adjustments, then we’ll return them to you for free, for your further consideration.
We may request that you allow us the opportunity to make these adjustments to all Custom orders before a full refund is issued. Please confine your initial steps in your new shoes to the indoors, preferably on carpeted floors, to prevent damage or blemishes. We can only except returns that are in resalable condition.
